Our Story

The Thirteenth Hour first opened in 2003 as a charity Haunted Attraction. The event raised thousands of dollars for local community organizations and started the path to opening a professional Haunted Attraction.

In 2017, our team of builders and artists resurrected The Thirteenth Hour in Indianapolis featuring two attractions: The Cathedral of Souls and The Catacombs.

In 2019, The Thirteenth Hour opened two all new attractions: Mine No. 13 and Reaper’s Hollow.

In 2022, The Thirteenth Hour moved to an all new 25 acre location and unveiled it’s newest attractions, Cartocker Expeditions and Widow’s Walk Cemetery.

In 2023, The Thirteenth Hour launched it’s first off-season event for Valentine’s Day: Love is Blind and introduced the Purgatory Midway.

In 2024, The Thirteenth Hour launched it’s second off-season event, Tick Tock Battle. This unique event combines laser tag and haunted houses for one epic experience. We also expanded with an all new attraction: The Sharpe Family Orphanage. MIne. No. 13 was retired after the 2024 season.

In 2025, The Thirteenth Hour brings its epic sets and experiences from inside to outside with the all new RIFT/13 attraction, 2025 will also see major upgrades to the Sharpe Family Orphanage and Purgatory Midway. 2025 will also Introduce our Gift shop!
