The Thirteenth Hour Returns
New Location
The Thirteenth Hour is back with a vengeance. Celebrating 5 years of fear, Indy’s Ultimate Halloween Destination is returning to an all new location on the Southeast side of Indianapolis. The Thirteenth Hour is now located directly off I-465 at the Brookville Rd. exit. Sprawling over 25 acres, The 13th Hour is a Haunted House like you have never seen before.
New Attractions
After checking in, you and your group will venture through the woods in search of Cartocker Expeditions. This all new experience and theme will set the tone for your evening at The Thirteenth Hour. Combining indoor and outdoor attractions, The Thirteenth Hour will continue to set the bar for what a Haunted Attraction can and should be.
If you escape the Timer Keeper, you will find yourself transported to another dimension, right into the all new Widows Walk Cemetery. The Cathedral of Souls stands in the distance, beckoning the lost souls to enter and face the master. If you escape his grasp, the re-imagined Mine No. 13, now longer than ever, will see you to your demise.

13TH Hour Adventures
Since The Thirteenth Hour is closed for the 2021 season (returning in 2022), we are taking the opportunity to visit Haunted Houses all over the Midwest and the country! Since we own a Haunted House, it’s not often we get to explore and visit other Halloween events!
Our first weekend took us to Ohio, with a stop at The Lewisburg Haunted Cave: https://hauntedcaveatlewisburg.com/ .
This 40 minute experience takes you over 60 feet underground into a real limestone cave, previously a limestone mine. This Haunted Attraction is old school, dark, wet, full of unique effects (like fire balls and driving cars!) and has one of the best “first scenes” out there. Located just outside of Dayton, it’s close enough for a trip from Indianapolis. Even if you are not easily scared, it’s unrivaled to being able to walk through a REAL cave!
Saturday night took us to another haunted house nearby. In Columbus Ohio, we started with a behind the scenes tour of FEAR Columbus. A new owner took over the previous 13th floor attraction at the same location and has brought new life into it! Featuring two attractions, the whole experience will take about 30 minutes. The first haunt involves a family performing a summoning, the second is a very unique apocalypse city scape. https://fearcolumbus.com/
The last and most intense haunted house on this list, and that we have ever been to, is the Haunted Hoochie at Dead Acres. Seeking to push just about anyone’s buttons, this is not a Haunted Attraction to visit if you are easily offended. Taking away that though, they have some of the most over the top set designs and out of this word creations that we have not experienced anywhere else. Kids Day at The 13TH Hour
While there is a lot of questions in the air about Trick-or-Treating in 2020, we think we have the perfect solution! Bring the kids for as safe, non-scary, fun experience in costume! Located in Indianapolis!
This Saturday, October 24th, from 5-6pm, come on out to The Thirteenth Hour for a safe, one-way trick-or-treating walkthrough. Navigate the halls, collect candy from characters, and even get some pictures!
Masks / face coverings are required for all ages this year to enter, and tickets are $2 per person! They are available online or in person.
